Notice!
We are absolutely devastated to have to write this status, but sadly we have come to the decision to leave the Frankland Arms, we would have liked some time to come to terms with our decision but unfortunately the rumour mill that is Thirsk didn't allow that.
We would like to thank all of our customers, we have appreciated your support for the last two years, more than you will ever know.
Our aim is to be out by the end of January though this could be sooner depending on who the new tenants are and when they want to be in. We don't know who the new landlords/lady will be though we have every faith that Punch will chose someone who will do what is best for the Frankland and the amazing customers it has.
The pub will be running as usual so you can still pop in for your daily dose of Frankland craziness.
While we imagine a lot of you will have questions we ask that you give us a little time to process what has been an extremely difficult decision, and our staff time to come to terms with it as well.
We imagine the rumours will truly start to fly, however we are not looking at this as a failure we set out to make the Frankland a safe and inclusive place and for two years we did exactly that.
We would like to thank all of our staff who have worked so hard, we will truly miss working with you all.
We are so sorry that our time at the Frankland is coming to an end, but even though we won't be behind the bar, we will still be popping in to support this amazing pub. We have made some lifelong friends and truly appreciate each and every one of you.
Thank you
Tom and Zoe ❤️
