Our cellar was absolutely covered in empty barrels after the last Race Day… we’re taking that as a sign that everyone had a bloody good time! 😂🙌

However our sights are firmly set on… 👠💃✨

📢 A LITTLE BINGO UPDATE 🎱❤️

We just wanted to let everyone know about a small change to our bingo from 1st October.

From this date, we will no longer be able to accept stamp cards for bingo. Don’t worry though — everyone is still welcome to come along and enjoy our bingo! 🎉

The only change is that our jackpot prizes will now be available to registered members only. Don’t worry if your card hasn’t arrived yet, we will accept email proof until it comes through.

If you’re not already a member, it’s really easy to join! 😊

📝 You can pick up a membership form behind the bar
💻 Or you can apply online through the Royal British Legion website

We’d love to get as many of you registered as possible so you can continue to enjoy everything the club has to offer — including those jackpots! 💰🎱

What a day! 🍻🏇

Last Friday we had the pleasure of welcoming Beechwood & Easterside Club back to the Legion before they descended onto Thirsk Races – and once again, you certainly didn’t disappoint!

The beer was flowing, the garden was full, the laughter never stopped… and by the look of the second photo, our bar staff definitely earned their wages! 😂🍺

A massive thank you to every single one of you for choosing to spend your afternoon with us each year. Your continued support means the world, and it’s always a pleasure to have such a fantastic group through our doors.

We hope you all got home safely and had a brilliant weekend.

Until next year… we’ll make sure we’ve got plenty of glasses ready! 😉🍻❤️
