Just wanted to say a final goodbye and massive Thank you to all the customers of The Frankland over the last 5 and a half years. We have all laughed, cried, hugged, and drank together. Some amazing memories made and great friendships were born (literally - a few babies came from people who met here) We've lost people along the way too, and they will remain in my heart forever.

I wish Tom & Zoe the very best and know they will pour their hearts into the pub as we have done. So glad to be able to say The Frankland is staying in The Frankland Family.

Pub will re-open tomorrow with a Quiz Night, so get down there and show your support to what I still believe to be the Best pub in Thirsk

Our Story

We are a traditional pub just a short walk from the market square of Thirsk. We have the best beer garden in town with grassed lawn and play area for the kids, plenty of seating and a beautiful festoon lit patio. We hold regular Saturday night Disco and Karaoke's and occasional Live Music Acts. Added to this we have a Wednesday Pub Quiz, Dart Board, Pool Table and Sky Sports. Family and Dog friendly, we are the community in which we sit. Call in and enjoy our fine cask and craft beers and lagers, or refresh yourself with a flavoured cider or try one of prestige Gins all served with Fever Tree tonics. During the winter we have a Saturday and Sunday Brunch served from 10-2pm and during the warmer months a full pub grub menu including our scrummy burgers! The Frankland Arms - Where Friends Gather - certainly Worth the Walk!
