REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY IN DAWLEY
Sunday 8th November 2026

This Sunday, our community will come together to remember those who lost their lives in service, honour everyone who has served or is serving today, and think of the families who carry their memory.

Dawley Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service | 10.15am–12.30pm

The parade and service are a chance for people of all ages across Dawley to come together and pay their respects. Whether you come every year or are bringing your family for the first time, we hope to see you there.

Half-price community breakfast at the Elephant & Castle

We’re inviting everyone to join us for a half-price breakfast this Sunday. Bring your family, invite a neighbour or pop in on your own. There’ll be a warm welcome from the team and a chance to sit down together over a cooked breakfast. If there’s someone you’re remembering and you’d like to share a story about them, we’d love to hear it.

A complimentary drink for serving personnel and veterans

As a small thank you from everyone at the Elephant & Castle, we’re offering a complimentary drink to current and former members of the Armed Forces this Sunday. If you’ve served or are serving now, we’d be glad to welcome you and thank you in person.

Please share this with anyone who’d like to come along to the parade and service or join us at the pub.

SOMETHING WICKED HAS TAKEN OVER THE ELEPHANT & CASTLE! 🎃🤡

Well… we’ve always had a few characters at the Ellie, but this lot are taking it to another level! 😂

Creepy clowns, terrifying masks, Frankenstein and Edward Scissorhands… even popping to the bar comes with a fright! Just look at the effort that’s gone into these costumes and make-up. You lot certainly know how to do Halloween!

Our Carnival of Screams Silent Disco weekend is all about brilliant company, big tunes and having a proper laugh together — and these photos say it all. Headphones on, everyday worries off, and let the monsters loose on the dancefloor! 🎧👻

It’s Halloween, and we’re ready for the FINAL NIGHT of our CARNIVAL OF SCREAMS SILENT DISCO at the Elephant & Castle, Dawley! 👻🎧

One last night to step inside, put on your headphones and join us for a Halloween party full of dancing, singalongs and some seriously frightening faces. If you were here last night, get yourselves ready for round two. If you missed it, tonight is your chance!
