Good afternoon from The Ruishton Inn ❤️

First of all, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community who has supported us, stood by us and spoken up for us throughout the recent licensing review. Your kindness and encouragement have meant so much.

We’re pleased to share that the review has concluded with no changes required to our licence and no finding of public nuisance.

Now it’s time to look ahead and put our energy into building a successful pub that our village can be proud of—a welcoming community hub where everyone can come together, enjoy themselves and help support local charities.

From every visit to every kind word, your support helps us move forward.

📣 Customer Update – The Ruishton Inn

As some of you may be aware, the flooring in both our main bar and restaurant has been lifted due to splitting and lifting. We are having it replaced, which has caused some disruption.

The main bar will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday 14th October, and we hope to have it open before 5pm.

The restaurant flooring has also been removed, although the concrete underneath remains suitable to walk on.

With our carvery units currently unavailable, tomorrow’s midweek roast will be served in the evening only, plated directly from the kitchen.

We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this work has caused. Thank you for your patience and understanding—we hope to be back to normal very soon.
