This last week a few members of staff & customers have been playing this game, testing it out to see if it was any good. We have had a great time & would like to play with some of you!

Back on the bar, GOATS MILK from Church End Brewery !

I have to say, their were some delightful Church End Brewery b**rs at last week's Tamworth B**r Festival, and this one is no different.

Goats Milk was actually first brewed for a B**r Festival at The Goat Pub in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire !

It proved so popular, that it became a permanent fixture of their b**r list!

It later became Champion B**r of Britain in 2017 !

But enough of the history lesson, get yourself down The Office and sample a pint or three !

Brilliant afternoon yesterday, to announce the amount raised for Cancer Research !
Whilst the weather affected our day, slightly, we made the most of what we had.
A superb debut from Meg Hitchin, started us off ! We're really pleased to have given her, her first taste of a live crowd. She will be back, and playing for us for years to come, we hope !
Upstairs we had Bibbledy Bob, who entertained a very excited group of children. Bob has committed to coming back to see us, at Fun Run next year ! Great shift Rob Bowker, we love it, Thank You
A welcome return, for Jordan Judd, and a brilliant 2 hour set, that took us through to Cheque Presentation.
and then, the cheque presentation : £18052.59 !!
Well Done to the organisers of The Office Abbott Run, that is a superb achievement, and Thank You for allowing us to be partners in the this wonderful charity.

So Thank You to everyone that came to support Meg, to see Jordan or Bob, and to celebrate our announcement yesterday !

EIGHTEEN GRAND folks, not bad for a small village pub, and a local car dealer Polesworth Garage !

⛔️ FUN DAY & CHEQUE PRESENTATION ANNOUNCEMENT !

🚩 Our Fun Day goes ahead, but due to the adverse forecast, we will be mainly inside.
🤡 Bibbledy Bob will be on site from 2pm as planned
✅️ Stalls will be under each smoking shelter. Please dont forget them ! Some have cancelled but these people are continuing.
🎤 Meg Hitchin & Jordan Judd will both play in the bar.
💜 Then at 6.30 Cancer Research UK will be with us to here the total amount raised by The Office Abbott Run for 2026, and accept their cheque.

🤝 It was lovely to catch up with George and Louise of the Tamworth Tap last night, at Tamworth B**r Festival as well as the Lichfield, Sutton & Tamworth CAMRA committee and volunteers, but also it was lovely to meet Kenny & Jenny, the two people behind the Real Ale Finder App . All people who are passionate about supporting pubs, and supporting real ale.
🤷 They say 'Nothing in Life is Free' - is that really true ?
👊 Well, Kenny & Jenny have developed the Real Ale Finder App and it is totally FREE , and can be downloaded easily from any app store.
Then, simply follow 'The Office' , and the app will then tell you when a new ale comes on, and it will tell you all about it too !

🙏 You can help us grow our numbers on the app, just by downloading it, for FREE and following us. 🤷

🔺As a pub striving to grow our real ales and ciders, we certainly appreciate the efforts made by all of the people mentioned above.
