You might all remember a while back we advertised that Brodie was selling golf balls he’d found down on the golf course to raise funds for The James Support Group.

We were delighted to invite Patrick Mullery to the Platform to present a cheque to Brodie with all the funds he’s raised - a whopping £765! 🤩 Not bad going when you’re selling golf balls at 50p/£1 a go! 🤯

The James Support Group are a vital resource to the Highlands where support surrounding mental health is scarce. From helplines to groups for families who have lost a loved one to su***de, The James Support group provide a safe space every step step of the way - from su***de prevention to support groups after profound loss in the hardest circumstances.

The James Support Group started after the tragic passing of James Mullery at 28 years old when life became too much. Patrick, James’ dad, works tirelessly to prevent the same thing happening to another family. We are getting to the time of year where su***des, particularly male su***de, increases dramatically with dark, cold nights and financial strain on the horizon.

Well done Brodie for raising so much money for such an important charity to our local people. You should be so proud of yourself!

If you or anyone you know is struggling, please visit The James Support Group at https://jamessupportgroup.wordpress.com or call on 07563572471. There is no shame in asking for help. 💙
