Sorry we haven't posted in a while, here's a couple of updates.

We had a cheque presentation to The Pancreatic Cancer Charity, with some of the team members of The Plough and The Calleva Arms cricket teams. £4000 was the grand total. A fantastic amount of money. Well done to all involved and who donated. 👏🏻🏏🍻

Sorry we haven't posted in a while, here's a couple of updates.

Some of our lovely customers did the boundary walk of Pamber Forest in aid of the War Horse Charity, in honor of the animals which fell in WW1, WW2 and other conflicts. Of course they ended their walk with well deserved b**rs and baguettes in The Plough! 🍻🥖☺️

The final total raised from the cricket match is £3895! Fantastic amount of money. Well done everyone for donating so generously! The money is going to Pancreatic Cancer UK 💜

Another fabulous charity cricket match between The Plough and The Calleva yesterday. The Calleva beat The Plough 191 to 112. Nevermind, we have to let them win sometimes! Congratulations to The Calleva, well deserved! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you so much to everyone that came out to support the teams and more importantly to raise money for our chosen charity this year, Pancreatic Cancer UK, which you may know is very close to our hearts.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising the event, particularly Silchester Pavillion Committee.

This year was the 20th anniversary of the charity cricket match after we lost our dear friend Roger Lee in 2015. It's always a special day and we look forward to next year. 🏏🍻🍾🥂🏏
