After completely selling out last year, we’re bringing back our festive wreath workshop — and tickets are available now! 🌿🎀

Join the lovely ladies from Bank Farm Florist for a gorgeous festive evening of wreath-making, good company and a little bit of Christmas magic. 🥰

And of course, it wouldn’t be a festive evening without mulled wine and a delicious grazing board to enjoy while you create! 🍷🧀✨

A whole year has flown by… and we’re doing it all again! 💛🎉

This time last year we were throwing ourselves into our Charity Day, raising money, having plenty of fun and making some brilliant memories along the way.

And now, a year on, we go again! 🎶🎪💛

Join us this Saturday from 3pm for our Charity Day, raising money for the fantastic Old Mill Foundation.

We’ve got live music all day, carnival games, a raffle and plenty of opportunities to get involved, have some fun and help us raise as much as we can for an amazing cause.

So grab your friends, bring the family and come join us for another brilliant day.

🎭 THE RESULTS ARE IN! 🎭

So our traditional August fancy dress party just keeps going from strength to strength — so much so that this year was so manic we couldn’t even announce a winner on the night! 😂

There were sooooo many good costumes, and so many of you made such an incredible effort that this year we’ve decided to change things up a little bit…

So, without further ado…

🏆 Traditional Fancy Dress Award:
The Cabin Crew! ✈️👏

But so many others shone that we couldn’t possibly stop there…

👑 Best Individual:
Gina Lemon — The Kings Head’s very own Dolly Parton, for one night only! 🤠🎤

🎪 Best Family Entry:
The Robinson Circus — complete with the cutest little ringmaster we ever did see! 🥹🎪

Trophies and prizes will be available to collect from the pub this weekend. 🏆💛

And to everyone who dressed up — thank you! We’re genuinely sorry we didn’t manage to get photos of you all. It was such a manic night that trying to keep up with the costumes, the people and everything else going on was quite the challenge! 😂

Summer may have had us putting the Yorkshire puddings on hold for a little while, but the wait is nearly over…

Our Sunday lunches return next weekend — the first Sunday of September! 🎉💛

The roasties will be crisp, the gravy will be flowing and we’ll be ready to welcome you back for those proper Sunday afternoons we all love. 🥕🍗

And after the weather taking a turn, we’re very much looking forward to getting back to cosy Sunday lunches with familiar faces around the tables.

And this time, it’s a very special one because it’s our Annual Charity Day, raising money for the brilliant Old Mill Foundation.

We’ve got a full day of fun lined up:

🎶 Live music all day from 3pm
🎪 Carnival games
🎟️ Raffle
💛 And plenty of chances to come together and raise as much as we can for a fantastic cause.

After such a brilliant summer, we couldn’t think of a better way to round things off than with one more big day together.
