You can feel it, can’t you?

Everyone’s suddenly a bit more cheerful.

Work seems slightly less important.

And the words “shall we go out for tea?” are starting to sound VERY reasonable. 👀😂

Thursday is basically Friday’s messy little sibling.

Not quite the weekend… but absolutely willing to cause trouble. 🤣

So if you fancy good food, a few drinks and a laugh without having to wait another 24 hours…

📝 THE ALBION WITNESS STATEMENT

We need to discuss something.

One of our regulars walked through the door yesterday looking suspiciously pleased with himself.

No hello.

No “how are you?”

Just walked in, sat down and announced:

“I’ve made a decision.”

Naturally, we were concerned. 😂

Turns out he’d decided that from now on, he was going to be “more responsible with money.”

Lovely.

Very mature.

Very sensible.

Then he ordered a pint.

Then food.

Then another pint.

Then spotted someone he knew and bought them one.

Then said:

“Right, THAT’S IT. I’m not spending another penny.”

Five minutes later he was studying the dessert menu like he was choosing a mortgage. 😂

We’re pleased to report his financial planning is going absolutely brilliantly.

Anyway… if anyone sees him today, please don’t tell him there’s a Happy Hour.

We’re trying to help. 😂🍻
