🎸 Father’s Day at The White Hart 🎸

This Sunday, we’re looking forward to welcoming Richie Stixx Music to The White Hart from 5.30pm for an afternoon and evening of fantastic live music.

As many of you know, it’s been an incredibly difficult week for our White Hart family following the loss of our dear friend Kenny. The love, support and tributes from everyone have meant more than we can put into words.

Whilst Sunday will still be a time for us all to come together, there will also be a special moment of remembrance. At 7pm, we will be holding a balloon release in memory of Kenny, giving friends, family, Kenny’s littlest friends and customers the opportunity to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.

So whether you’re joining us to celebrate Father’s Day, enjoy some live music, or simply raise a glass to Kenny, we’d love to see you.

A GoFundMe has been set up to give Kenny the send-off he truly deserves 💙

Kenny was a much-loved friend to us all, and to many of us he was more like family❤️.
He touched so many lives with his kindness, friendship, and the memories he gave us, and we want to honour him in the best way possible.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us give Kenny the farewell he deserves. Any funds remaining after funeral expenses will be given to his children to help support them during this difficult time.

💙 Thank You 💙

The outpouring of love for Kenny over the last 24 hours has been overwhelming.
To see so many flowers, tributes, messages, and kind words left outside The White Hart has brought both tears to our eyes and warmth to our hearts. It is a true reflection of just how many lives Kenny touched and how loved he was by so many people.
Kenny wasn’t just part of The White Hart, he was part of the community. A friend, a familiar face, a character, and someone who meant so much to so many.
While our hearts are broken, seeing the love being shown for him has brought us some comfort during an incredibly difficult time.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has stopped by, left flowers, shared memories, sent messages, and kept Kenny and those who loved him in their thoughts.
The tributes lining the pub are a beautiful reminder of the impact he had on so many people, and we know he would have been overwhelmed by the love being shown for him.

We would also like everyone to know that all floral tributes have now been carefully brought inside and placed in water so they can be looked after and remain as beautiful as possible.

💔 There are some people who become far more than friends. Kenny was one of them. 💔

Yesterday, we lost a huge part of our White Hart family, and the truth is, we’re struggling to find the words.

Kenny wasn’t just someone who lived above the pub. He wasn’t just someone who worked behind the bar. He wasn’t just a customer, a colleague, or a friend.

He was family.

He was part of the furniture here. Part of the laughter. Part of the stories. Part of the memories. Part of everyday life.

Always there with a smile, a joke, a helping hand, a bit of banter, or breaking into song. His singing became part of The Hart too, filling the room with laughter and memories that we’ll never forget. The kids adored him and he adored our kids ❤️ Customers adored him. Friends adored him. He had a way of making people feel welcome, valued and cared about without even trying.

The Hart won’t be the same without him.

The bar he worked behind, the room he called home, and the people he spent his days with all hold memories of Kenny. Every corner of this place will remind us of him. The hole he leaves behind is impossible to put into words.

Our hearts are broken.

Thank you for the laughs, the friendship, the loyalty, the songs, and the memories, Kenny.

You meant so much to so many people, and you will be missed more than words can ever say.

Forever a part of the White Hart family. ❤️
