Think charcuterie boards or a full festive spread, handcrafted cocktails, DJs, live saxophonists and a space to call your own. Every detail can be tailored to how you want to celebrate.

Small gathering? We’ll make it intimate.
Bigger celebration? Take over Desire.

Bespoke venue hire starts from £160 for groups of 10 or more, this includes a private space and a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival.

For groups of 10 or more, book your Christmas gathering by 16th November and we’ll include a complimentary festive balloon arch. Simply add ‘Christmas Party’ to the reference notes when booking.

Our Key Lime Pie was inspired by a dessert at one of our neighbouring restaurants Roberto's pizza house

A VERY PROUD MOMENT FOR US 🖤🍸

We’re incredibly proud to announce that our very own Dereece Gardner has been nominated for Best Venue Manager at the 2027 Bar Magazine Awards!

As an independent cocktail bar in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, receiving national recognition is a moment we’re incredibly proud of.

Whilst we’ve been open for two years, we feel our story really only began a year ago. Since then, we’ve continued to evolve, challenge expectations and work towards one ambition: putting Staffordshire firmly on the cocktail map.

From the creativity behind our drinks to welcoming incredible industry talent through our Culture Served series, we’re passionate about pushing boundaries and creating memorable experiences.

A huge thank you to our team, past and present, the amazing businesses and individuals we’ve had the pleasure of working with, our Desire Collective members, and everyone who continues to support us. You’ve all played a part in shaping Desire into what it is today.

We had the pleasure of hosting YADNEY FERNANDES from STERLING BAR ,and what a night it was!

To sell out of cocktails on a Sunday in not-so-sunny Stoke-on-Trent is something we don’t ignore.

A heartfelt thank you to Yadney for his professionalism, generosity and creativity. It was a genuine honour to watch you work. Hope you enjoyed the oatcakes! 😂

We’re super proud that Yadney has entrusted us with the original recipe for his Treasure Thief cocktail. A creation recognised by some of the industry’s most respected bartenders and featured on the Bartender’s Choice app. We’re incredibly honoured to be the only bar outside of Sterling entrusted with its original specification.

And to everyone who joined us and made this possible, thank you for making another Culture Served so special.
