Our other pub is in the Good B**r Guide for the second year running...we're determined that next year the Red Lion will be as well!

As some of you know, we recently applied for a variation to our premises licence, to allow younger darts players to join with the teams.

We are delighted to say that our application has been successful and are looking forward to welcoming the teams back.

Feeling better after a drop of rain?

HEN HOUSE SOUND SYSTEM, a delicious hazy pale from Alter Ego Brewing Co less abv, but no less flavour!
The ever popular Bradfield Brewery bringing us FARMERS STOUT
And a cracking old fashioned bitter, SHIRE HORSE from Little Critters Brewing Company
We also have LILLEYS RHUBARB C***R.

Then to soak up some b**r we have LOADED NACHOS, FILTHY CHILLI DOGS, PLOUGHMANS, MEGA FILLED BAPS, PIES, PASTIES and of course, the infamous SHARING PLATTER!

Your b**r, the best it can be!!

After a fairly stressful week, a full cellar refit, all new pipes and connectors, cask aspirators, some new glass shelves, a new glycol pump and some serious open heart surgery on our chiller.... we are finally sorted!

The b**rs are icey cold, the ice cream freezer is stacked to the max, we have 6 handpulls working (but that might become 8 cos ya know...we like a challenge!!)

But we are OPEN, FULLY FUCTIONAL and ready for ACTION!

I hope that hasn't jinxed it!! Haha!

Right... with a fair wind and a bit of luck, we're ready to go (apart from the hoovering.. but I'm doing that next!) We have a fantastic line up of b**rs...

*WE WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY 27th AND TUESDAY 28th July for a full cellar refit. All new pipes going in and some very technical jiggery pokery... looking forward to bringing you the very best quality b**rs and some additional real ales!
