Feeling better after a drop of rain?
On the Bar this weekend we have...

HOPPY VALLEY from Burton Bridge Brewery and all we can say is WOW! What an absolute belter of a beer!
HEN HOUSE SOUND SYSTEM, a delicious hazy pale from Alter Ego Brewing Co less abv, but no less flavour!
The ever popular Bradfield Brewery bringing us FARMERS STOUT
And a cracking old fashioned bitter, SHIRE HORSE from Little Critters Brewing Company
We also have LILLEYS RHUBARB CIDER.

Then to soak up some beer we have LOADED NACHOS, FILTHY CHILLI DOGS, PLOUGHMANS, MEGA FILLED BAPS, PIES, PASTIES and of course, the infamous SHARING PLATTER!

Your beer, the best it can be!!

After a fairly stressful week, a full cellar refit, all new pipes and connectors, cask aspirators, some new glass shelves, a new glycol pump and some serious open heart surgery on our chiller.... we are finally sorted!

The beers are icey cold, the ice cream freezer is stacked to the max, we have 6 handpulls working (but that might become 8 cos ya know...we like a challenge!!)

But we are OPEN, FULLY FUCTIONAL and ready for ACTION!

I hope that hasn't jinxed it!! Haha!

Beer, Cider, Sunshine and picky bits for tea... what else could you want? How about some LIV GOLF ... on the telly all weekend, avoid the traffic and the queues, watch all the action in comfort with a beverage of your choice!

Hello all, we would like to introduce ourselves and give you an update. The Red Lion will be opening hopefully on Wednesday 25th March at 5pm. We will need a bit of luck but we are doing all we can to be ready for then. We will update if unfortunately we cannot meet our deadline. The pub is going to be run by Nicki and myself, Craig and we aim to bring to you a traditional pub at the centre of the community. Apologies for the confusion regarding the hours, we will update them as soon as Google lets us. We hope to see you soon.
