A piece that forever carries a story…

These two bespoke denim jackets were created around family, love and legacy, bringing together details that hold a very personal meaning for their owners.
At the heart of the design is the McGregor family tartan, appliquéd across the back of each jacket and transformed with intricate silver embroidery inspired by the family crest.

The lion, stag, armour and crest were carefully digitised and embroidered alongside the family motto, “S Rioghal Mo Dhream”, creating something that feels rooted in heritage while still completely personal to them.

And perhaps our favourite part of the story: our lovely clients will be wearing these as they get married on their fifth anniversary, marking the next chapter of a life and family they’ve already begun building together.
A pair of jackets designed not just for their wedding day, but as pieces to keep, wear and hopefully pass down through generations.
Love, heritage and a little piece of family history, stitched into every detail. 🧵🤍

A few seconds of what our machines spend hours doing…

A single design can have tens of thousands (or even hundreds of thousands) of stitches before the design slowly comes all together to create the banners and jackets that we all know and love!

What actually goes into making one of our embroidered banners? 🪡

Quite a lot more than you might think.

Every banner that leaves our studio has been designed, digitised, sampled, embroidered, constructed, finished and packed by our small team - and depending on the artwork, the embroidery alone can have our machines stitching away for hours.

Before we even reach the packing stage, there’s fabric to prepare, thousands (sometimes tens of thousands) of individual stitches to embroider, threads to trim, details to check and all of those finishing touches that turn a piece of fabric into something made to be kept.

Then comes one of our favourite parts: carefully wrapping it up and sending it off to its new home. 🤍

We know that when you see a finished banner online, it can be difficult to imagine the time and craftsmanship behind it, so we’re going to start sharing a little more of what happens behind the scenes at BWE.

Made slowly. Made properly. Made especially for you. ✨
