🎄❤️ THE SHOE BOX APPEAL IS BACK - AFTER SUCH AN AMAZING RESPONSE LAST YEAR ❤️🎄
We're collecting again for the Manchester Xmas Shoebox Appeal 🎁, helping provide festive gifts, warmth and everyday essentials to vulnerable people and those experiencing homelessness across Manchester.
Christmas can be a difficult time for many, and a simple shoebox filled with thoughtful little gifts can make a real difference. ❤️
🎁 WHAT CAN YOU POP IN YOUR BOX?
🪥 Toiletries: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shower gel, baby wipes, deodorant, hairbrushes or combs.
🧣 Warm Clothing: Hats, scarves, gloves and warm socks to help keep someone cosy through the colder months.
🔦 Useful Extras: Torches, chocolate, sweets, biscuits and other little treats to bring a smile.
🎄 And anything else you can think of! Every box is an opportunity to show someone that their community cares.
❤️ A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:
🎅 Please include a Christmas card in your box. A few kind words can mean just as much as the gifts themselves.
🎁 Make your box look festive and pretty! Please wrap the lid and the box separately so we can add extra items before they're distributed.
🏷️ Please label your box clearly so it reaches the right person. For example:
• Young adult – Male or Female
• Elderly – Male or Female
• Dog 🐶
🚫 NO ALCOHOL OR MONEY, PLEASE.
🙏 PLEASE GET INVOLVED IF YOU CAN!
Whether you fill a whole shoebox or simply donate a few essentials, every contribution helps. Let's come together this Christmas and share a little warmth, kindness and festive cheer with people who may need it most.
🎄❤️ A LITTLE BOX. A LOT OF LOVE. LET'S MAKE CHRISTMAS BRIGHTER TOGETHER! ❤️🎄
Please share this post and help us spread the word! 🎁✨
