The Club 142 Park Lane is a members club located in the village that provides quality entertainment with a varied and competitively priced bar.

Here at The Club we have lots of things to keep you entertained.

Manford’s Comedy Club returns to Poynton next Friday (12 June) with another cracking line-up! Gavin Webster headlines the night, joined by Ricky Balshaw, Matt Reed and Jake Breeze for an evening of top-quality live stand-up at The Club, Poynton. Tickets are £13.50 and these nights usually sell quickly, so grab yours while you can. Doors open at 7pm.

Slingback started working in 2002 and have gone from strength to strength. They have performed all over the UK. Jenny is an award winning vocalist, and Keith is an accomplished guitarist who has written music featured on BBC Sky, ITV and Channel 4. The duo play songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and more.

Part time bar staff wanted (£12.71 an hour)

We are looking for a new member of staff to join our team. You'll need to be 18 or over and be flexible in your working hours. You will need to be able to work late nights and weekends, including at least one of Friday or Saturday night.

Experience behind a bar is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for somebody with a great attitude and good social skills.
Initial hours will be 10-15 hours per week, with opportunities for extra shifts. Further training can be provided at a later date to increase responsibility for enhanced pay. Holiday pay and extra pay for bank holidays is also provided. Please note we are looking for someone long term, so this may not be suitable for those looking for a temporary summer job.
