This year we will be holding a Christmas party on Saturday 22nd December from 7pm. We have a DJ/karaoke for entertainment, buffet and mince pies, and it is Buy One Get One Free on all draught and spirits. The event is not ticketed, £10 on the night will get you a wristband for the BOGOF offer.

Following the success of last year we will be holding a Family Party once again. There will be a DJ with party games, buffet, and a firework display to welcome the New Year. Tickets cost £5 for children, £10 for adults, or £25 for a family of 4 (2 x adults, 2 x children), tickets are available from Monday 26th November. Tickets include a drink on arrival of any draught, single 25ml spirit, or a medium glass of wine. Any soft-drink is included for children.

Poynton Sports Club

A Community Amateur Sports Club for over 125 years, we strive to ensure that all our members and visitors have a warm, safe and welcoming experience at our club.

We have a fantastic range of amateur sports available for all ages: football, lacrosse, cricket, tennis, bowls, and table tennis. Our junior sections are particularly popular and constitute over half our 800 strong membership. Membership is open to all with an annual subscription and/or match fee depending on your sport of choice.

If you prefer to spectate rather than participate, you are more than welcome to pull up a chair in our bar. We have a fantastic range of wines, spirits, lagers, and cask bitters available at very competitive prices. Or, if you would rather give the alcohol a miss, we have a variety of hot/cold soft drinks to suit your needs.
