A new week means a fresh excuse to get around the table! 🎲

We've added even more fantastic titles to our shelves recently, so if it's been a little while since your last visit, now is the perfect time to come and discover your next favourite game. Whether you're a seasoned strategist, a fun-seeking family, or friends looking for a different kind of night out, our Games Gurus are always on hand to help you find the perfect match.

📚 Home Ed Gaming Session – Wednesday, 11am–2pm. Just £1 per hour per person, with free squash for all attendees. A fantastic opportunity for home-educating families to learn, socialise, and play together.

🎲 Wednesday Social Gaming – Come alone, with a friend, or bring a group. We'll help get everyone gaming.

From eerie starships and desperate survival, to high-speed racing and prehistoric showdowns, this week at The Dice Box Stockport had a little bit of everything! 🎲
Tuesday saw our crew descend into the surreal sci-fi horror of Mothership, where strange happenings, mounting tension and some truly memorable moments reminded everyone why the game has earned such a reputation.
Wednesday's Social Gaming Night brought gamers together around the tables, with plenty of conversation centred around the latest treasures and discoveries brought back from UK Games Expo. Nothing beats sharing a new favourite game with fellow enthusiasts.
Thursday shifted gears as our Gateway Games Night put Heat: Pedal to the Metal and Flamme Rouge head-to-head. The racing was fierce, the competition close, and the debate over which game deserved pole position continued well into the evening.
As the weekend arrived, the lounge was packed with brilliant gaming moments. A family dinosaur showdown saw cunning Raptors take on a fearsome T-Rex in Unmatched, while a surprisingly cuddly Cthulhu loomed over investigators battling to save the world in Cthulhu Death May Die.
To round everything off, we hosted a wonderful birthday party on Sunday afternoon, filling the lounge with laughter, excitement and plenty of games around the table.
Thank you to everyone who joined us this week. Whether you attended an event, celebrated with friends, enjoyed a family day out, or simply popped in for a coffee, cocktail and a game, you helped make the lounge such a fantastic place to be.
We can't wait to see what next week brings!

Last night's Gateway Games Night delivered exactly what we hoped for – plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and some incredibly close finishes as our racers battled it out on the track.

When the dust settled, Heat narrowly claimed victory in the final vote, but there was a surprise twist. Several of our ticket holders fell so hard for Flamme Rouge that they took advantage of the exclusive 20% event discount and headed home with their very own copies from our retail area! 🚴🔥

That's exactly why we love these events. They're a chance to discover games you might never have tried otherwise, meet fellow gamers in a relaxed social environment, and sometimes find your next favourite game to add to your collection.
