🇺🇸 9/11 – 25 YEARS ON 🇺🇸

Today marks 25 years since the September 11th attacks.

On September 11th 2001, hijacked planes were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, another struck the Pentagon, and a fourth, United Airlines Flight 93, crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers and crew fought back.

Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives that day, and countless families, friends, emergency workers and communities were changed forever.

Today, 25 years on, we remember those who went to work and never came home, the passengers and crews aboard the planes, and the incredibly brave firefighters, police officers, paramedics and members of the public who ran towards danger to help others.

🕯️ 25 years on. We remember.
