We hosted the afternoon and games were arranged by Sue. People brought food and I cooked the bbq (inside 🤣🤣)

Teams are so important to me and The Bell and I loved hosting petanque this season.

We welcome more teams next season and hopefully add to the players!

Firstly I must apologise for the 15 minute over run last night on the outside bar. I always keep to my time limits but last night was an accidental exception.

Anyhow when a village legend is celebrating a milestone and you’re their host……I’ve never seen the pub so busy!!!! By god we worked hard!!!

Jas, Nic, Sarah and Danny thank you so much for helping. A special thanks to my mate Harley for being glass collector and stocking up man. I never have a glass collector but he is an exception as he asked me and to be honest we needed it!!

Jon/Tec I hope your night was special enough for you. You deserve it!

Now to hosting our petanque BBQ and nearly a full restaurant!!!

Tonight in the marquee we host a special villagers 60th. We are expecting a lot of people. The bar area remains open….party starts from around 7pm. Music will play till 11pm.

Saturday open all day with food only 12-2. Saturday night we are hosting a villagers special birthday and there will be music in the marquee.

Sunday open all day. Food 12-4 then we host our annual bbq for petanque. 🙂

Today we welcome back local football!

Saturday we have Glen leading Great Paxton FC playing down the Rec at 3pm and Ross leading Paxton UTD away but only down the road at Priory Park.

Grab a pint from me if popping down the rec.

Sunday we have our new Paxton Sunday led by Charlie Hoxley

I love the football season and can’t wait to welcome them back.
