The Royal Air Force Yacht Club The Royal Air Force Yacht Club in Hamble offers a warm welcome for visiting boaters whether sail or motor.

Membership is available to all with an interest in boating, subject to interview. Hamble's friendliest yacht club situated in the heart of the Village. Members benefit from parking, a weekend launch service out to river moorings, a bar and restaurant as well as a good social community. We also have 3 hotel standard rooms to let, each with ensuite bathroom; 2 doubles and 1 twin/double

Did you know that the RAFYC have mid-river moorings, both pontoon and trots. If you are looking for a berth, you can apply to join the Club and as a member you will then have the chance to take one of our moorings, depending on availability.
We currently have immediate availability on 2 of our pontoon moorings, for boats up to a maximum of 8.5m on one, and up to 9.75m on the other. If this may be of interest to you, please contact the office on 02380 452208 for further details. We are always open to new applicants 🙂

Another great year for Riverside House, the home of the Royal Air Force Yacht Club. Busier than ever, and still managed to improve our Traveller Review Awards score from 8.8 to 9.1 out of 10. A big thank you to those who stayed in our clean, comfortable rooms last year and gave us such good reviews, we will continue to make sure we provide the great service and warm welcome you deserve.

This weekend was the RAFYC's most popular Rally of the year and saw 30 boats making the journey to West Cowes where despite Saturday's weather, everyone had fun at the pontoon party and entered into the Festive Spirit, with Rally Officer Chris Furner serving Gluhwein from his boat 'Lady DJ'. Afterwards over 80 people attended The Island Sailing Club for a delicious meal. The best decorated boat of the weekend went to 'Tucepi'

It was a busy Saturday at the RAFYC, with our New Members Reception, followed by the Prize Giving and Laying Up Supper.

New and established members mingled and canapés and a delicious 2 course meal were provided by Flaming June Catering, ensuring happy, well fed members and their guests.
