Visiting South Shields for the first time? It’s not complete without a visit to one of South Shields oldest and most historic pubs. We’re open on Fowler Street until midnight tonight and from 11am - midnight tomorrow.

It’s the Great North Run weekend, we are open until midnight all weekend with non-alcoholic beer, Guinness, cider and even rum for all you runners, for everyone else we’ve got a great range of draught including (probably) the best pint of Guinness in South Shields, a guest ale, cracking selection of draught, Lilley’s ciders, wine and spirits. Plus join us at one of South Shields most historic pubs this Sunday for the Great North Run Afterparty with legendary drag sensation, Tammy Pax ( Graeme Pearson ) hosting the Great North Karaoke from 6pm!

Our Stephen Sullivan is taking on his 10th and final Great North Run this Sunday in aid of The Charlie & Carter Foundation "CCF". Following the race, we’re thrilled to be hosting an unofficial post run karaoke party from 6pm.

The incredible Graeme Pearson (aka drag sensation Tammy Pax) will be on hand to celebrate finishing the run with a brilliant karaoke party right through until midnight!
