The Address - It is with great sadness that we confirm we closed our doors for the final time this morning. This decision has not been made lightly — following long discussions and a full review of every possible option, Khalid’s family have reached the conclusion that this is the best path forward for them as they look to the future.
This building has been home to so many well‑loved venues over the years — The Mermaids Tale, Rosie Malones and finally The Address. Across all of these names, it has held countless memories, hosted wonderful gatherings and played host to some of the best times many of us have ever experienced. It sits right at the heart of the local market and in the hearts of people from far and wide.
This news has come as just as big a shock to every member of our team as it will have done to all of you.
Please know we truly tried absolutely everything we could to keep our doors open. Before we said our final goodbyes, we made sure to send you all off properly — raising a glass together and treating everyone to free shots, just one last time.
To every single person who has ever walked through these doors, shared a laugh, a story or a drink with us — thank you. Thank you for your friendship, your loyalty and for making this place what it was. We carry every memory with us, and we hope you do too.
