Originally a Gamekeeper's cottage for nearby Netherside Hall, The Gamekeeper's Inn offers delicious homemade and locally sourced food, guest and cask ales, and specialty wines and spirits. We have a variety of beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms, holiday lodges and glamping pods for the perfect luxury getaway to the Yorkshire Dales, as well as our campsite which is open through the summer. Our award-winning Netherside Suite provides an idyllic setting for your dream wedding or other special events, accommodating up to 200 guests with a private bar, live entertainment area, terrace and garden. Whether you're planning a lavish party or more intimate affair, we will work with you every step of the way to create your perfect day. Gather family and friends and enjoy a traditional Sunday carvery at The Gamekeeper’s Inn, served every Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.

Choose from a selection of roast meats, served with homemade Yorkshire puddings, rich gravy, seasonal vegetables and crispy roast potatoes - everything you’d expect from a proper Sunday lunch.

If a roast isn’t quite what you fancy, our Sunday lunch menu also features a selection of pub favourites, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Our usual all-day menu resumes from 4pm.

Whether you’re rounding off a weekend in the Yorkshire Dales or simply joining us for a relaxed Sunday meal, we look forward to welcoming you.

"Great location and very dog friendly" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We just wanted to share this lovely feedback from some recent guests who enjoyed a stay in one of our woodland glamping pods with their four-legged friend. 🐶🤍

"We stayed in one of the pet-friendly pods for a short break. The park is beautifully landscaped and quiet. The pods are compact but have everything you need, including WiFi.

We had access to the spa which was very welcome, with the cafe open for coffees and breakfast/lunch. We dined at the The Gamekeeper's Inn one night and the food was very nice.

It’s an ideal place for dogs - with walks around the area (on lead due to presence of sheep) and the inn is very dog friendly - there are dog snacks at the bar and even a dog menu.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Overall, a perfect location for access to the Dales. Would definitely recommend."
