👶💙 BOSS MAN’S ON BABY DUTY! 💙👶

Georgie and I are stepping away for a little while to welcome our baby boy into the world! 🍼🥰

I’m swapping pulling pints for changing nappies… apparently there’s no last orders on the night feeds! 😂

Our brilliant team will be keeping things running and giving you the warm welcome you know and love. Pop in, enjoy a drink and show them some support while we’re off on baby duty ❤️

📢 MEET THE MAN BEHIND THE CRABTREE — STU! 📢

For those of you who don't know Stu, we thought it was time to introduce you to the man behind the dream.
Stu's journey in hospitality started at the bottom, and through hard work, dedication and determination, he worked his way up to the top. He's experienced the industry from all angles, including working at The Crow in Hove and becoming the main man at The Bridge, where he made countless memories and friendships along the way. (And no hard feelings about the takeover.) Following that he worked incredibly hard at The Castle in Goring and has also worked at a few festivals.
Having worked in both big and small pubs, and spending several years working in security before entering the pub world, Stu brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding of people to The Crabtree.
He's a natural team leader — firm but fair, passionate about what he does, and someone who believes in putting the work in to get the results. When Stu has a vision, he gives it everything he's got to make it a reality. And never gives up.
But beyond the pubs, the work and the big dreams, Stu is a family man through and through. His family means everything to him, and he always strives to do his best for the people he loves and the people around him.
And there's another achievement we're incredibly proud of: Stu is now 6 years and 9 months sober! ❤️ That journey is something worth celebrating, and it says so much about his strength, determination and commitment to the life he's building.
Right now, he's also counting down the days until he meets his newest little bundle of joy — and with baby due any day now, life is certainly keeping us on our toes! 🍼
So why The Crabtree?
Because Stu has a vision. He wants to create more than just a pub. He wants somewhere Shoreham can be proud of; somewhere welcoming, friendly and inclusive, where old friends meet, new friendships begin, and everyone feels they have a place.
We're just getting started, and we know there's plenty of work ahead, but Stu is ready to give this everything he's got.
To everyone who came along on opening night, supported us, raised a glass or simply wished us well — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You're already part of this journey.
Here's to new beginnings, old friendships and building something special together. 🍻

Wow… where do we even begin?

We just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came through the doors on opening night and showed their support. Seeing so many of you come out to support Stu and help him take the first steps towards his dream genuinely meant more to us than words can ever explain.
Starting this new chapter has been a huge thing for us, and to see the people of Shoreham come together, share a drink, have a chat and show us so much love was honestly overwhelming in the best possible way. 🥰

Thank you for being part of the beginning of something so special to us.

We're so excited to get to know more of you, make new memories and hopefully make The Crabtree a place everyone feels welcome, whether you're popping in for a quick drink, a catch-up with friends or a cheeky pint (or two 😉🍻).

We're now OPEN DAILY FROM 12PM! 🎉

So, if you haven't popped in yet, we'd absolutely love to see you. And to everyone who has already been through our doors, we can't wait to welcome you back!
