📢 A quick notice for our guests 📢

Over the course of this week, we’re having the heating system in the pub replaced. 🔧

The majority of the work will be carried out before we open, but there may be some minor disruption during the early part of the day, until around 2pm.

We expect the work to be completed this week, but it will be finished by the end of next week at the latest.

After careful consideration, we've made the decision not to open for the England game in the early hours of Monday morning.

As a community pub in a residential area, we have to be mindful of the impact that a busy pub in the early hours can have on those who live around us.

We're incredibly proud of our hardworking team, who go above and beyond for our guests every week. Looking after them is just as important to us as looking after our guests.

We'll be open as normal on Monday, ready to celebrate — hopefully! — an England victory and start building the atmosphere for next Saturday's quarter-final.

🎉 We're Back Open! 🎉

Good news – the water supply has now been restored, and The Hammer & Pincers is back open as normal.

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding while the repairs were carried out today. We really appreciate your support and apologise again for any inconvenience caused.

Due to a burst water pipe outside the pub, we currently have no water supply and have had to temporarily close the business while repairs are carried out.

We have been advised that the issue should not take too long to resolve, and we will post a further update as soon as we have more information.
