It's been a fabulous couple of days this week so far. Welcoming faces familiar and visitors new.

Wednesday saw the start of the B**r Festival, new b**rs on our bar and a beautiful new exhibition in our gallery.

We are looking forward to sharing a b**r and having a chat with you over the weekend. It's a tad windy today but Storm Austen appears to have left us unscathed and so far dry! The b**r however is not dry and we have a good selection to wet your whistle!

The b**rs featured will not be around long, so keep an eye out for changes on the bar.
The artwork will be available to view until the 1st November.

Our new neighbours (and new friends 🙂) at Sheffield Live have purchased the former Tap & Barrel pub and aim to revive the building as a centre for community arts and media as well as bringing the pub back to life.

We have seen the space and we're excited by the plans. As such, we'd encourage anyone who loves independent pubs and real ale to read through the share offer and consider investing in this wonderful opportunity to bring a piece of Sheffield heritage back to life as a genuine community space - backed by the community and for the community 🍻

To raise £150k to refurbish the former Tap and Barrel at 42 Waingate, Sheffield as a new centre for community arts and media
