It’s been four long years of deliberation when it comes to the old nitro stout line. When we decided to commit, we knew it needed to be something special. Lucky for us Thornbridge Brewery have just the product.

Brock has all the smooth velvety richness of our Irish counterparts, but brewed just down the road ensuring peak freshness. What’s not to love. We are launching it for our Dark B**r Festival, but fear not. It’ll be available evermore 🍻🦡

This week we say toodles to our dear co-worker Jago, who has been with us for nearly two years. He is relocating to the Sheffield of the south west - Bristol.

A keen bike polo player, Jago would often show up to work with some kind of zombie bike he had cobbled together himself. His handiwork and problem solving abilities came in very useful for fixing things in the pub and will be missed! And as you can see from pictures, he was often coerced into social media marketing which he always did in great spirits, and for that we are forever grateful 🙏

We wish him all the best in his journey in the south, and we can wholeheartedly recommend his services to any Bristol based pub owners out there. Safe travels 🫡👋

Ah! Güten tag mein OKTOBERFIENDS 🍺🤘

It’s another weekend of Boktoberfesting, and don’t we have a few treats lined up for you 🇩🇪😋

Imported direct from the fatherland, four authentic festbiers. From Munich itself we are pouring Paulaner🍻 and Lowenbrau. Plus festbiers from .uk and Ayinger. Drink in a stein, or enjoy at your own pace. We ain’t fussed.

We also have a couple of Britoberfest options to throw into the mix, from Thornbridge Brewery and Cloudwater Brew Co 🇬🇧🤝🇩🇪

And as always, plenty of bratwurst, sauerkraut and hot pretzels to go alongside 🥨🔥
