A big new drop from Polly’s Brew Co. has landed at Craft & Berry 🍺

Seven fresh beers from the North Wales brewery, with plenty of the big, hop-forward stuff Polly’s do so well.

🌸 Good Mood – Oat Cream Pale 5.5%
Soft, smooth and full-bodied, taking the juicy pale ale in an oat cream direction.

🎨 Static Art – Pale Ale 5.8%
Citra and Mosaic Lupomax provide bags of juicy hop character, backed up by Centennial for a little extra bitterness and balance.

🌌 As Above, So Below – Double IPA 8%
The biggest of the new arrivals. A full-strength DIPA and one of Polly’s latest fresh releases.

🚘 Route 99 – West Coast IPA 6%
A change of direction from all the soft and hazy stuff. Leaner, drier and more bitter, with classic pine, grapefruit and resinous West Coast character.

🌺 Liquid Bloom – Oat Cream IPA 6.5%
This one sounds particularly good. Talus provides the bitterness, with Mosaic and Meridian bringing softer fruit notes of mandarin, lemon, boysenberry, mango and papaya. Oats, vanilla and lactose give it that big, pillowy oat cream body.

🍍 Pineapple Krush – Pineapple IPA 6%
Bru-1 and Krush hops were deliberately chosen for their pineapple character, then Polly’s added Pineapple Abstrax to push it even further. Their own tasting description essentially boils down to: pineapple, pineapple and more pineapple.

🌸 Bigger Petals – IPA 6.2%
A seriously fruity hop combination of Nectaron, Strata and Luminosa, bringing peach, pineapple, passionfruit, orange, papaya and plenty of tropical

A couple of proper Czech lagers have just landed at Craft & Berry 🇨🇿🍺

Podkováň has a brewing heritage stretching all the way back to 1434, with its lagers still made in Central Bohemia using traditional methods. The brewery uses water drawn from its own 300-metre underground spring, open fermentation and a slow maturation of around 40 days.

We’ve got two to try:

🍺 Světlý Ležák – Classic Czech Lager
Golden, clean and smooth, balancing gentle malt character with that classic Czech hop bitterness.

🌑 Tmavý Ležák – Dark Czech Lager
Made with dark roasted malts, giving it richer notes of caramel, chocolate and coffee while keeping that smooth, drinkable lager character.

Over 600 years of Czech brewing tradition packed into a couple of cans.

A couple of fresh arrivals from Leeds-based Tartarus Beers have landed at Craft & Berry 🍺

Tartarus Beers are known for naming their beers after mythology and folklore, and these two continue the theme. They’re also both gluten free, something Tartarus have been putting a real focus on across their recent releases.

Sphinx – Gluten Free Hazy IPA 6.1%
A full-bodied hazy IPA with plenty of hop character. Soft, juicy and punchy at 6.1%, with a recent Brewed in Leeds tasting picking out the big hop flavour and body.

Pilou – Gluten Free Hazy Pale 4.5%
The lighter of the pair, bringing the same modern hazy approach down to a much more sessionable 4.5%. Soft, easy drinking and hop-forward. Tartarus themselves list it as their 4.5% Gluten Free Hazy Pale.

Two new ones for the gluten-free beer drinkers, without having to compromise on the big hazy pale and IPA styles.

A couple of special new arrivals from our Sheffield neighbours at Abbeydale Brewery 🍺

Abbeydale are celebrating 30 years of brewing in Sheffield, and these two releases mark the occasion in very different ways.

🌙 Lunar Moonshine – 4.5% Pale Ale
A birthday twist on the Sheffield icon that started it all. Abbeydale have taken the familiar Moonshine combination of Willamette, Citra and Centennial and added Australian Luna hops, bringing an extra hit of citrus, stone fruit and tropical flavours while keeping that classic balanced Moonshine character.

🍫 Trillionaire Shortbread Stout – 5%
Their 30th anniversary take on Millionaire’s Shortbread, turned up another notch. Expect biscuit malt, silky chocolate, rich caramel and vanilla in a properly indulgent stout.

Two limited releases celebrating three decades of one of Sheffield’s best-known breweries.

A bit of Sheffield design history has just landed in the fridge at Craft & Berry. 🍺

DR:ink is a collaboration between Verdant and Sheffield’s legendary The Designers Republic, created to celebrate 40 years of tDR.

Founded in Sheffield in 1986, The Designers Republic went on to become one of the most influential design studios around, creating iconic work for Warp Records, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Wipeout, Gatecrasher and plenty more. Their work now sits in permanent collections at both MoMA and the V&A.

The beer itself is a 4.5% Pale Ale, brewed with Krush and Mosaic hops for an easy-drinking, crisp and clean pale with plenty of hop character.

And the can is a big part of this one. tDR created 10 different labels for the limited-edition release, making them rather tempting to collect.

Cornwall beer meets Sheffield design history. We couldn’t really not stock it.
