Peated Muscat 51.0%

Produced in the heart of Edinburgh, this peated single malt has been matured in sweet muscat wine casks! Layered with notes of honeyed nuts, dark chocolate, and sweet, subtly maritime smoke, it's an elegantly balanced demonstration of the smokier side of the young Leith-based distillery. On the nose there's sweet smoke up front with gentle earthy tones, charred oak, vanilla, and a touch of citrus zest. Whilst on the palate you find a balance of honeyed malt and warming spice, layered with toasted nuts, dark chocolate, and rich waves of peat smoke. The finish is long and smooth with lingering bonfire embers, sweet smoke, and a subtle maritime edge.

Where did the sun go? Well at least it's a Tuesday so there's one predictable thing.. the return of our weekly quiz night. Our resident Quiz Master Dave will be in the house from 8.30PM as usual with those all important general knowledge questions.

As for us on the bar, we've got plenty of choice across the wide selection of cask ales, keg beers and spirits which as always are available until 11PM tonight.

Old Skool 50.0%

Released in 2026 as a 25th anniversary limited edition, this un-peated Bruichladdich is 10 years old and distilled from malted barley grown on Islay. The bottling is inspired by the distillery’s retro 1980's labels and was primarily matured in first-fill bourbon casks with a small parcel of first-fill Sauternes.
On the nose there's lots of creamy vanilla, honeycomb, a little butterscotch and light brown sugar, along with notes of white peach, green apple and a little prickle of spicy ginger. Whilst on the palate it's citrusy and zingy with fresh lemon and a little pineapple. Followed by creamy white chocolate and more of those tropical flavours of pineapple and mango chunks.
On the finish you find a lingering sweetness with a malty, slightly caramel-led flavour, which is a little bitter and drying.

Two by Two's house pale ale is hazy, soft and very drinkable. Significant citrus and fruit aromas lead to a sweet, hoppy, full bodied golden ale. Full advantage is made of the mosaic hops in the lasting hoppy, fruity finish.

Spirit Of The Week...

Vintage Scotch Whisky Co.

15yr Old 46.0%

This Lowland single grain Scotch whisky was distilled in 2010 and spent the next 15 years maturing in a selection of first fill sherry hogsheads and first fill bourbon barrels, resulting in a whisky that is full of complexity. On the nose there are notes of vanilla, toffee, light dried fruit and polished oak. Whilst on the palate you find silky caramel, soft spices, a gentle nuttiness and creamy grain sweetness. The finish is smooth, mellow and lightly warming with lingering oak and sweetness.
