June Wine Flight! 🍷

This month is all about holiday destinations (in fact so is our whole wine by-the-glass list!)

Starting off strong with Xynisteri from Tsiakkas Winery, an Indigenous Cypriot White from Crete (13.5%)
- honeysuckle, nectarine, lemon zest

Next up we have Coteaux du Cap Corse from Domaine Pieretti, a Corsican Island Rosé from France (12.5%)
- rosehip, blood orange, grapefruit

And last but not least Mas de la Rouviere from Domaines Bunan, a full bodied Provençale Red.

Orange Cider 2023. Still, tart, grapefruit, apple skins.
The Future’s Yellow. Sparkling, honeydew, lemon-peel, spiced.
Sargardoz Goxoa Apple Liqueur. Sweet, candied apple, raison, port-like.

So nice we had to do it thrice 🏆

A big bloody thank you to everyone who voted us ‘Best Bar’ at last night’s Exposed Awards and to all you guys who have supported us through the years. And the biggest shoutout of all goes to the amazing staff who go above and beyond every single day to make The Old Shoe what it is today (some sore heads about today).

To cut to the chase, we are just honoured to have taken home an award all three years that we’ve been open and we’ll see you again next year 🫡 cheers x
