Two embarrassing referee decisions that forced FIFA into introducing VAR. [1] Lampard’s goal for England v Germany in the World Cup that was clearly over the line and disallowed and [2] Thierry Henry's blatant handball for France v Republic Of Ireland in a World Cup play off that was astonishingly allowed. Both very embarrassing for FIFA and they realised things had to change. And we come full circle today, Maguire CLEARLY handling the ball with both hands and the goal is allowed. Ridiculous. Embarrassing. They still keep making these crazy decisions.
