Front of House – Breakfast & Guest Services
The Fig Tree Hotel is looking for a friendly, organised, and reliable person to join our supportive hospitality team on a part-time basis, 10-20 hours per week.
This role includes serving breakfast and beverages, welcoming guests, managing check-outs, handling bookings and emails, and supporting our housekeeping team. It would suit someone with excellent people skills, a calm and helpful manner, and confidence using basic IT or booking systems.
You’ll be joining a peaceful, modern boutique hotel just steps from the beach, with regular daytime hours and a genuine team environment.

You spend your days looking after everyone else… but who looks after you?

If you’re a therapist, counsellor, coach or wellbeing practitioner, we’d love to invite you to Time for You, A Retreat Taster at The Fig Tree Hotel in Shanklin.

For a couple of hours, put down the responsibility of caring for everyone else and experience what it feels like to be the one receiving the care.

Join us on Wednesday 9th September, 10.30am–1pm for a restorative morning including:

• NADA ear acupuncture & guided meditation
• Somatic movement & gentle yoga
• An introduction to kinesiology – learning to listen to your body
• Cream tea & relaxed conversation
• Time to discover The Fig Tree and our residential retreat experiences

Our intention is that you leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and reconnected.

Places are deliberately limited so we can keep the morning small, personal and welcoming.

There’s a £10 commitment fee, which you can redeem against any future Fig Tree event during 2026.

And if you’re a business owner, therapist, coach or retreat leader looking for somewhere to bring your own group, this is also a lovely opportunity to experience the hotel and imagine what you could create here.
