📢🤣 MARK THOMAS TURNS 40 (in stand up years) 🤣📢

Hugely acclaimed comedian, actor, campaigner and big venue fave Mark Thomas - one of our oldest surviving alternative comics - is back to perform an intimate 'work in progress' show ahead of a huge national tour and a run at the world's biggest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Mark will be celebrating 40 years as a stand up with a taster menu of government and personal mayhem, jokes, rants and a personal state of the nation broadcast!

We're so excited to be welcoming one of Argentina's most celebrated tango singers, MARTIN ALVARADO, accompanied by the incredibly talented guitar quartet Gerardo Villar Y Los Aguirre.

Martín is a world renowned troubadour who takes tango and other folkloric styles from his homeland to new levels of artistry, with soulful and unforgettable interpretations infused with warmth, colour, nuance and sensitivity.

🚨 NEW SHOWS FRIDAY! 🚨

Two fab new shows have gone on sale today.

1981 Eurovision winner Cheryl Baker will be back in Selby on 20th February for an intimate 'audience with' event, following on from her appearance at Selby Abbey with The Fizz on 20th November. Cheryl will make you laugh, and possibly cry, with so much to say and many tales to tell. Join her as she celebrates 50+ years in the entertainment industry with music, laughter and chat.

Comic's Comic Best Act 2025 Award winner and one of the UK's silliest and funniest comic storytellers, Rob Rouse, is back in the venue on October 10th with his full tour show following an absolutely barnstorming headline set at our comedy club back in February which many regulars have said was their favourite ever. Really, really looking forward to this one!

🎙️ “A voice the whole world needs to hear” 🎙️

We're super excited to be welcoming the stunning voice of Callaghan to the Town Hall on 29th May.

Drawing frequent comparisons to artists like Sarah McLachlan and Eva Cassidy, Callaghan's songwriting chronicles stories and emotions which are part of everyone’s lives.

We've not got many tickets left for this show now - early purchase recommended!
