In Loving Memory Of George Stephen Stringer ❤️
A True Friend to All, A Real Gentleman, and a Man Who Will Never Be Forgotten.
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dear friend, George Stephen Stringer.
George was one of life's true gentlemen, a wonderful friend to so many, and a man who touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known him. He leaves behind countless memories, friendships and moments of laughter that will be treasured forever.
On Friday 30th October, we invite everyone who knew and loved George to join us as we come together to pay our respects and give him the heartfelt farewell he deserves.
🕊️ 11:30am – A Walk-By in Loving Memory
We will gather outside the West Riding Pub, Scarborough, as George passes by for one final time. Please join us to show your love and respect, share a moment of reflection, and raise a glass in his honour as we say our goodbyes.
🕯️ 12:00pm – Funeral Service
The service will take place at Woodland Crematorium, where we will come together to celebrate George's life and say our final farewell.
🍻 After the Service – Back at the West Riding
Everyone is welcome to join us back at the West Riding to raise a glass to George, share stories, remember the good times and celebrate a life that meant so much to so many.
Let us fill the pub with the stories, laughter and memories that George would want us to remember him by.
Please come along if you can. Your presence will mean so much as we stand together in friendship and give George the loving send-off he deserves.
George, thank you for the friendship, the memories and the laughter. The world was a better place with you in it, and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our memories.
Rest peacefully, George. Until we meet again. ❤️🕊️

⚽ Arsenal legend Ray Parlour joined fans at The Brook Gate in Finsbury Park for a special afternoon celebrating all things Arsenal! 🔴⚪

Hosted in partnership with Coca-Cola, the family-friendly event brought supporters together for an afternoon packed with football themed fun, including games, an Arsenal nostalgia quiz and even the chance to play darts with the former Gunners midfielder 🎯

Fans also enjoyed an exclusive Q&A with Ray, who shared stories from his Arsenal career, while the Premier League Trophy made a special appearance and proved a huge hit with guests 🏆

A fantastic day of football, memories and community spirit at The Brook Gate!
