Catering Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic & positive individual to join our pizza catering unit which serves customers at Nightflix Drive-in cinema, you will join as our catering assistant to oversee and help manage in running our catering operation at the drive-in cinema, you will be part of a small team thriving to provide an amazing quality food and service.

This role will include maintaining high food hygiene standards, a clean working area, all health and safety aspects, customer care and administration. On some occasions you may be required to work until 12pm so need to meet minimum health and safety requirements being over 18 years of age.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Filling out daily food hygiene paperwork, date sorting/checking

· Liaise with site staff working together on commercial promotional opportunities

· Ensure high standards of food safety

· Produce high quality presentable food

· Carry out site maintenance checks

· Serve customers and cater to any additional needs

· Record checks, serviceability and work required in the relevant register

· Ensure all administration, documentation, logs and records are compiled, updated and stored as per Company procedures

· Remove litter from site and maintain and clean and tidy working environment

· Notify the Site Manager or Managing Director of any site problems, health and safety concerns or other employee’s disputes

· Comply with all health and safety policies, measures, legislation & film licensing codes of conduct

· Ensure your own safety and those with whom you are working

· Use equipment in a safe manner as trained

· Ensure the safe operation of our events

· Apply first aid when necessary appropriate to your skill level, training will be provided

· Report and record all accidents, significant incidents and rescues correctly

· Report all safety matters to the Manager or Managing Director

· Carry out site checks during the daily opening and closing of the site and record any

· Maintain equipment

· Work as a team player

Personal Specification

Essential

· Previous catering experience

· Must be punctual, with a professional outlook, able to work under own initiative without supervision

· A ‘customer comes first’ attitude with drive and enthusiasm to achieve higher impact

· Excellent communication skills and high standard of personal hygiene and appearance

· Must be an enthusiastic team player and be able to work with other colleagues in an unusual business environment

· High energy levels with cheerful disposition and the ability to work under pressure

· Must like working outdoors

· Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail and follow company procedures

· Good levels of IT Skills

· Good communication skills

Desirable Elements

· Health & Safety experience

· IT skills: Word processing, Excel, etc.

· Own transport
