Meet Mike. (And Jamie. Hi Jamie.)
Mike is what we in the business call a Hartley's Power User. Regular customer ✅ Member of BoB Club Scarborough - Part of BoB Clubs Yorkshire , which meets here at Silver Royd every second Friday ✅ And now, conducting his 1-2-1 business meetings here too ✅
Mike works from home, and as he rightly pointed out, working from home can be a lonely life. So rather than stare at his kitchen wall in silence, Mike comes to Hartley's. For the coffee. For the community vibe. For the buzz of being around people.
Definitely not to get out of the house Sandra.
(His words were something along the lines of loving the social environment and community feel. We're paraphrasing. The sentiment stands.)
His lovely wife Sandra may have noticed that Mike spends a considerable amount of time here. More time than at home, some might say. We couldn't possibly comment. What we CAN say is that Hartley's is apparently now classified as Mike's second office, social club, meeting room, and sanctuary.
Sandra, you're welcome. Again.
