A Little More Local Colour

We’re delighted to now have prints by local artist Maria Ward displayed around the pub, with the artwork also available to purchase.

It’s the start of something we’d really like to develop, creating spaces around The White Hart where Island artists can display their work for our customers and community to enjoy.

We’d also love to hear from other Isle of Wight artists who might be interested in displaying their work with us in the future.

Your Christmas Plans, Sorted

Our first Christmas at The White Hart is shaping up to be a busy one.

Christmas Day is now fully booked, and we’re receiving plenty of interest for Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

If you’re planning a festive meal, Christmas get-together or staff party, our special December menu will be available alongside our normal menu.

We’re currently putting together our first Gastro Evening, planned for this November.

The new Route 33 bus stops right outside the pub, with connections to the train station, making it easier to get to and from Havenstreet without driving.

Our quiz now takes place every 2 weeks on a Tuesday, so if you can’t make the next one, there’ll always be another chance to have a go. The next quiz night is scheduled for the 13th October.

Our festive menus are ready, and we’re looking forward to our first Christmas at The White Hart.

Throughout December, you can join us for a festive two-or three-course meal, with seasonal dishes served alongside our normal menu.

It’s a great excuse to get together with friends and family, celebrate with colleagues, or simply enjoy a festive meal in the pub. We’re already receiving plenty of interest for December dates, so we recommend getting your table booked early.

This October, we’re stepping back into the 1960s for our first ever Murder Mystery Night at The White Hart.

Professional actors will be joining us from the mainland for an interactive mystery written especially for us, accompanied by a 1960s-themed three-course dinner.

• Friday/Saturday 23/24 October
• £75 per person
• Professional live actors
• Five-course themed dinner
• 1960s fancy dress encouraged
• Prizes for the best-dressed male and female

We only have 58 places available and 32 have already been booked by locals.
