Ye Old Ferrie Inn is located amongst the beautiful Herefordshire countryside of Symonds Yat, with numerous scenic walking trails near to the inn. Canoeing is available on the river, while horse riding is available nearby. The menu at the inn changes daily, and serves fresh, home-cooked food made with local ingredients. The inn offers a range of Hereford and Wye Valley ales and Broome Farm ciders.

A quiet morning on the Wye…

The river is looking very low after such a long, hot summer, but there’s still plenty of life around it. Geese, swans, a beautiful heron and even a kingfisher made an appearance this morning.

With rain finally on the way, we’re feeling grateful for the summer we’ve had - and especially for everyone who has visited us and enjoyed this special place.

Here’s to whatever the rest of summer brings. 🌿🦢
