👇 Menus & bookings The Rhos Fynach, now a beautifully restored pub and restaurant with a wonderful function room for weddings and special occasions, was originally a 12th century monastery with secret tunnels linking it to the nearby

tiny, 6th century, Chapel of St Trillo. The oldest building in the area, built in 1181 AD, Rhos Fynach (literally meaning 'Monk's Marsh') offers haven, nourishment AND history for the weary traveller or the holidaying family! The Rhos Fynach recently joined the Oriel Country Hotel & Spa (Denbighshire’s only 4 star hotel) in St Asaph group of companies; the intention is to maintain Rhos Fynach’s old world charm whilst offering quality, fresh, delicious food for the pub, restaurant and function room. Traditional ales and Tuesdays 9pm quiz night with a roaring fire are still one of the many fine features available making this a favourite place to rest a while. There is plenty of parking in both the onsite car park and the 2 council car parks. We look forward to welcoming you to the Fynach.
