The doors of The Buf are officially open on Saturday 29th August.

Sean Strickland is on the decks from 8pm til late for the reopening and the drinks are ready - so come and join us for a massive night of non-stop house beats, cold pints, and your favourite cocktails!

The doors at The Buf are officially opening back up on Saturday 29th August.

The team behind Golf-X has recently taken over, and the rumours are true, on January 2nd 2027, the builders are moving in to completely transform the building into a brand-new venue.

But seeing a legendary spot on Prestwick Main Street sit empty for the rest of the year just didn’t sit right with them. The Buf is a local institution, and it deserves a proper send off.

So, between now and January 2nd, Golf-X are turning the lights back on and running it exactly as you remember it. No changes to the decor and no messing with the vibe, just the classic Buf led by the one and only Chris Cole, open for one final run.

Come down for a few months of madness, and help us give this place the farewell it deserves before the next chapter begins...
