Our first floor intimate venue offers a diverse range of performances from acoustic music sets to stand up poetry and comedy. The Libertine Venue is situated upstairs above the bar and available for bookings. The space can be hired for gigs, comedy, charity events, private functions, band rehearsals, all manner of things. There is no booking fee for hiring of the venue space, which means its total
ly free!! We are also always on the lookout for bands to play. So if you interested in putting on your own gig or playing a support slot, please send us a email or PM and let us hear what your band sounds like! For events at The Libertine we can provide:
the PA system & microphones as well as a multi-channel mixer
Please Note:
bands need to provide all their own backline: eg instruments, drums, keyboards etc.. We recommend bands share some equipment eg: drum kit
Publicity for Events:
we strongly recommend you get busy on Photoshop and create some cool posters and flyers to distribute around town and anywhere else you can think of, in order to advertise your event. Things to include:

We will work with bands to promote the event, through advertisements in local newspapers, internet and putting up your posters in the venue, but the majority of the promotion of the event is expected to be done by the bands, as all the entry money goes to you! The more you promote your event, the more you make, and the better your night will be! Things we need from you to promote your event:
Names of the bands playing,
Picture & a short bio on each band,
myspace, soundcloud etc link, so people can hear what your like
We are licensed till midnight, 7 days a week,
