I genuinely don’t know where to start other than by saying THANK YOU.
Thank you to each and every single one of you who has supported us over the last two years. From those who supported this pub when it was The Tardy Gate, to everyone who has walked through the doors of The Wishing Well and helped us make it what it is today.
Tonight, being recognised two years running means more than I can put into words. 🏆❤️
Yes, I turned up and took on this pub, but there were many people before me who played their part, and there are so many people around me today who continue to make it happen.
And I’ll be the first to admit — we haven’t always got everything right. We’ve made mistakes along the way, and we’ve probably done things differently to how some people would have liked to see them done. But everything we have done, and every decision we’ve made, has been because we want the very best for this pub and for each and every single one of you who supports us.
We’ll continue to listen, we’ll continue to learn, and we’ll continue to improve. That’s what being part of a community is all about. 💚
I will never take all the credit, because a great pub isn’t made by one person.
