It is a fantastic location for simply enjoying a drink or eating out, whether it is in our downstairs conservatory, one of our two stunning balconies, or upstairs with the incredible fish tank. Whether it’s a simple breakfast, coffee and cake, a family meal or celebration, Sunday lunch or a romantic dinner for two eating at the Bridge is always a memorable occasion. Group bookings and special occasions can also be accommodated. Open all day every day, with children welcome downstairs, and well behaved dogs too (we are on the South Devon Coastal Path, after all!), it’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy a pint of local beer or tuck into some excellent homemade, locally sourced food while watching the boats coming and going - or maybe just dreaming about a life on the water! Please note we only accept payment by card.

Tomorrow our senior sous chef Tony will be cooking up a storm on the demo stage at Seafest Plymouth 2026 alongside Commis chef Leo. They will be showcasing this fantastic mackerel which came in today from S&J Fisheries by using it in three different dishes. All in 45 minutes!!

We will be closed this evening from 6 o’clock for the marinas annual Berth Holders Party!
Normal service will resume from 9am tomorrow morning. Much of our normal car park will not be available until Tuesday (there is a marquee in the way!), but we have plenty of parking in our overflow car park just 20 m from the front door. Please speak to the crew when you arrive who will point you in the right direction!

We’re proud to have a close relationship with our local fishing community. Every day we receive a message to let us know the array of seafood that’s been caught for us that morning and which exact boat we can thank for it - can’t get fresher than that!

Every fish dish on our menu has a story - from the boat that caught it to the hands that prepare it - and we think that connection matters. And just like with meat, knowing the source - the boat, the journey, the care - should matter.

We’re proud to support our local fishermen and celebrate the incredible seafood landed right here in our coastal community. Enjoying our daily specials is a great way to show your support too!

We take lesser-known, delicious seasonal species and serve them in a familiar way - think golden batter, crispy chips, mushy peas, and tartar sauce. It’s a chance to try something new, like whiting, at a great price… and you might just discover a new favourite!
