Greetings from The Xtreme Team...... It's all a bit last minute here, but we like to keep you on your toes! ... If you have seen a copy of the current BRE and found the will to read our "Brewery Updates" you will be aware that our most Xcellent BlaX Forest Stout has recently won, yet another, very prestigious award.....
“On behalf of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), I am pleased to advise Xtreme brewery that cask BlaX Forest has won the Gold award in the Speciality Ales – Flavoured category of the 2026 East Anglia/East Central awards for Champion Beer of Britain.”....
Not too tardy for a little family run brewery in Peterborough!
It has taken a little while to come through but our BLO (Brewery Liaison Officer), Mike, has organised a gathering to present the certificate, and get the obligatory cheesy photos... This will be tonight at The Butchers Arms in Werrington, around 2000 hrs, but you know how it is with these things!
Ironically it also clashes with "Cheesy Tuesday" so its not only the grins, you also get to sample some cheese and pair it with our multiple award winning BlaX Forest which will also be available on tap...
