We can’t believe it’s that time of year again, but the Harvest Festival is next Saturday, 19th September from 6.45pm

Join us for our annual auction of produce, in aid of The Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party. Expect auction lots from flowers to cakes, to huge trugs of vegetables to pickled onions, all lovingly grown or made and donated. Last year we raised over £1000, all of which helped put on the annual Senior Citizens Christmas Party, an event that brings anyone in the village over retirement age together for food, drink and entertainment.

Any donations of produce on the day would be very welcome - just bring them up to the pub! We can’t wait to see you all there!

We’re delighted to have the incredible Abi Farrell back with us this Bank Holiday Monday from 2pm! Landlady Flora & Abi met at nursery at the age of 3, so it only seems fitting to have her back with us with her soulful vocals 😍

Exciting times this week as the rain returns, smokeyjims_bbq are with us this evening, and the inimitable Abi Farrell makes a homecoming to play from 2-4pm on Bank Holiday Monday!

All we’ve got to hope for now is no flooding, no more power cuts, and that Chef Freddie has some great burgers planned for us on Thursday!
