⭐️ Thoughtful Thursday ⭐️

Reflecting on things a little today and where the year has gone! Processing all the weekends talk, summer memories, how people are excited for autumn and what a changing season brings.

Made me think about how pubs fit into all of this. Not just our pub but all pubs, ones that have come and gone and the people in them.

Doesn’t matter who you talk to though, everyone loves a pub, each for a different reason or vibe. The guy who needs a dust buster after a hard days graft, or the girl who’s seeing her mate who’s having a hard time.

From the conversations that go, I’m just nipping out to see so and so at the whatever place because they’ve got a wotsit or other for me, to the friends who meet every week in the same place at the same table just because they love it there.

We all know I love a Sunday, there’s something special about altar day in a pub, but equally we’ve got those Friday night dancers, football mad weekenders, cosy night book clubs and those who simply go out because there’s more people in a pub than there is at home.

So come on, share your story, what does a pub mean to you? Any pub, tag a pub if you wish! It’s something very British and some thing very special that I really believe needs to be celebrated!
