Hi all, we're running another free Silver Social event on Tuesday ith September between midday - 3pm, with an Afternoon Tea, hot and cold soft drinks, games, music and a tech corner for people in Carleton Rode and surrounding villages. We'll also have a record player so it would be great if you can bring any LPs to play. Aimed predominantly for the older generations but it's a great opportunity to meet some new people and share stories over tea and cake. Coming up at the club this weekend...

FRIDAY - it's the first Friday of the month, which can only mean one thing, your favourite fish and chip crew are back, Jasons Fish & Chips will be frying up from 5pm - 8pm.

SATURDAY - There isn't a food vendor this Saturday but feel free to order a takeaway to the club and enjoy with a drink or two.

The MEMBERS DRAW has been postponed to 12th September, be sure to pop down then to be in with a chance of winning a £30 bar voucher.

SPORTS
We have two screens in the bar to catch all the live sporting action from Sky Sports, TNT and Freeview. If the game or event you want to see isn't on, please ask at the bar, and if we have it, we'll put it on.

POLITE NOTICE - PARKING:
We love to see you all visiting the club, village hall, and making use of the 3G pitch and playing field. Could we please ask that you park responsibly and make the best use of the car park. Please bear in mind access for village residents and for emergency vehicles into and out of the village. Thank you 😊

Wow wow wow! What a weekend! Thank you so so much for supporting Rodefest 2026! We all had a blast and despite the dreadful weather, you all still know how to party!

We're in the middle of the clean up however, throughout today, any of the remaining b**rs and ciders are available for £1 only person pint.

After 4pm, if we've still any b**r left, bring your containers and we'll gladly let you have any of the b**r before it goes down the sink!

RODEFEST 26!!...Day 3...it's gonna be awesome and the weather is looking favourable!

🍻 B**R FESTIVAL 🍻
We're kicking things off at midday when the doors open to the b**r festival, there are 30+ ales, b**rs and ciders for you to try throughout the weekend.
The usual bar will still be open for all other drinks we usually have on offer.

🎶 ENTERTAINMENT 🎶

🎶 Music starts at 1pm with Joules Martin, followed by the country sounds of Connor Baines, Big Black Cadillac will be on stage with a touch of Rockabilly, followed by Alex Emerson and closing out this years festival the awesome Wapscallions 🎶

East Coast Pizza Company & Moco Kitchen will be with us throughout the afternoon and evening alongside Heavenly Heavenly Crumble Norfolk's First Crumble Box and Whipp’d

KIDS CORNER -
We have setup an area for the kids to enjoy from 2pm, Gilyatt Designs will be joining us with a Bouncy Castle (height restrictions apply), Inflatable penalty shoot out and more. (All free to keep the kids entertained). The Bouncy castle is weather dependent.
Gilyatt Designs will also be setup for some fantastic face painting fun and Archie will be back on site selling a variety of sweets for all to enjoy. 🍬

🎟️ £5 WEEKEND WRISTBAND – PLEASE READ
This year, everyone aged 18+ attending Rodefest will need to purchase a £5 wristband which will give you access to the bar from midday through until the close of the event on Sunday evening.
🎟 WRISTBANDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE IN THE VILLAGE HALL ON THE DAY...NO NEED TO PRE-PURCHASE AND PLENTY TO GO AROUND 🎟
Your £5 gets you:
• Entry to Rodefest for the entire weekend – Friday, Saturday AND Sunday
• A branded Rodefest cup to use throughout the festival which you are welcome to keep
• Three days of live entertainment and a fantastic weekend at the Club!
You only need to buy the wristband once – keep it on and you're covered for the whole weekend.

FURTHER INFORMATION
🅿️ There is LIMITED PARKING over the weekend, the usual overflow car park opposite the club will be open along with the main car park and an additional overflow in the field next to the club (ideally suited to 4x4 vehicles). There will be signs and barriers to guide you but please park as sensibly as possible and respect the owners land.
If you are able to walk, lift share or get dropped off then please do so.

B**R FESTIVAL
Doors open at midday today, there are 30+ ales, b**rs and ciders for you to try throughout the weekend as well as the usual bar.

TODAY'S ENTERTAINMENT

🎶 The fun continues on stage, with music starting at 2.30pm with Mark Anthony & Isaac followed by the awesome Vex and closing out the night the fantabulous Drag Artists; Will Power, Knuckle Sandwich and Moira Less! 🎶

Moody Cow & JP’s Street Food will be serving up all sorts of delicious food; burgers, steak, fries, loaded roast potatos and homemade focaccia sandwiches, throughout the afternoon and evening alongside Whipp’d. 🥘 🍔 🌭🍛🍦

🎶 Rodefest is starting with a bang this year, with the extremely talented Bill Downs hitting the CRSC stage at 5pm ahead of the awesome NR SKA at 8pm 🎶

Grab a Burger & Amma’s Kitchen will be with us on the night to keep you fed, along with Whipp’d to provide that sweet treat we all deserve. 🍔 🍟 🍛🍦

KIDS CORNER - Saturday & Sunday
We have setup an area for the kids to enjoy, all being well with the weather Gilyatt Designs will be joining us with Bouncy Castles (under 12's only) and penalty shoot out. This will be manned and is free for kids to enjoy under parent supervision.
They will also be setup for some fantastic face painting fun.

Archie will be back at the club, with his sweet stand, be sure to pay him a visit and see what treats are on offer. 🍬
