It is with regret that I’ve had to put our next Edgy Open on this date. Unfortunately, there are no other available weekends due to County matches on the 10th and our Finals Days on the 18th and 25th October.

I would like to apologise to **Jake at Rumons** for clashing with his event. It’s never my intention to go over another competition, and I genuinely hope it doesn’t affect his event too much.

However, the Edgy Open is a six-event series, with qualification and ranking points on the line, so this final event needs to be played.

🎱🔥 **RATTLER MASTERS – RESULTS & THIS WEEK’S ACTION** 🔥🎱

What a night of Masters action at Edgcliff! The first night back certainly delivered, with drama right to the very end! 👏

# # # 🎱 GROUP 1

✅ **Russell Moore – THROUGH**
✅ **Jason Simmons – THROUGH**

But wow… they only just made it! 😳

**Joe Tonkin** came flying out of the blocks and won his first **2 matches**, putting himself in a fantastic position to qualify.

Going into the final match, Joe just needed **Russell Moore to beat Jason Simmons** and he was through…

And when Russell raced into a **3–0 lead**, it looked like Joe’s place in the next round was all but secured! 👀

But Jason had other ideas…

From **3–0 DOWN**, Jason produced a brilliant comeback to win **4–3**, throwing the whole group into chaos! 🔥🔥

That meant we were heading to a **6-Red Shootout** to decide who progressed, with **Russell Moore and Jason Simmons eventually taking the two qualifying spots**.

Absolutely brutal for Joe after winning his first two matches, but what a group! 👏🎱

**Scott Pope** made it look easy, putting together a perfect night with **3 wins from 3** and cruising through as group winner. 💪🔥
