What an incredible honour! We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to have won Best Hospitality Business of the Year at the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Awards.
This award means so much to us, and we certainly couldn’t have achieved it without the incredible people who have supported us along the way.

As the summer starts to draw to a close, it gives us a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the year we’ve shared so far.

Once again, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming so many lovely customers, both familiar faces and new ones, through the doors of our beautiful pub. For us, a pub is about so much more than great food and drink - it’s a place where families and friends come together, special moments are shared, and lasting memories are made.

With voting for the 2026 Red Funnel Awards coming to an end, we wanted to take this final opportunity to ask for your support.

We are absolutely delighted to share that we have been shortlisted for Hospitality Business Of The Year at The Isle Of Wight Chamber Of Commerce Awards 2026.

Being recognised in this way is a real honour. Since taking on The Blacksmiths, our goal has been simple - to create a place where our guests can enjoy great food, genuine hospitality, and make lasting memories.

We feel incredibly proud to play a small part in contributing to the Islands incredible hospitality industry. We're so fortunate to be surrounded by so many passionate and hard working businesses that make our Island such a special place to live and visit.

This nomination goes to our team just as much as us. Their hard work and dedication and care for what they do strongly contribute to make The Blacksmiths what it is.

Just a last reminder that we are closed from tomorrow and re-opening as usual from Tuesday 23rd June.

We wish everyone an amazing time at this Years I.O.W Festival, and a very Happy Fathers Day to all the incredible Dads out there.

A polite reminder that we are closed over the Festival period.

We will be closing the pub from Friday 19th June & reopening Tuesday 23rd June. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but this gives our hard-working team the chance to enjoy the Festival too.
